Virginia and Julian have known each other since the age of 14. Over the period of 15 years, their paths have crossed time and time again. They started out as friends and their friendship grew into a loving relationship with a solid foundation. Last year, on a family vacation to Playa Dominical, Costa Rica, Julian proposed to Virginia on their favorite mountaintop sunset spot. Originally, they were to be married in their home town of Toronto, Canada, but several months into the planning process something just didn’t feel right. They decided to scrap their plans for a big wedding in Canada and opted for an intimate destination wedding in Playa Dominical, Costa Rica. For their ceremony location, the couple decided that the most appropriate place would beat the very spot where Julian proposed to his lifelong friend. The rest, as they say, is history.

Following the mountaintop ceremony, the small group of guests made their way down via a caravan of 4×4′s to the wedding reception in nearby Dominicalito. Virginia and Julian were able to share a signature cocktail with their guests while watching sunset over the volcanic reef and tide pools.
